The Friday Power League 2020 Season 5 is a club league held at the Sheffield RC Racing club. Each round will consist of 4 qualifying rounds and 1 final. It runs over 10 rounds with 7 of those counting towards each racers total. Guests to the club will still be welcome to enter the overall championships.
TC 13.5 BLINKY Championship (Open to members and non-members)
This is the premier club championship that features a high level of competition. TC cars the most expensive and more powerful cars that run at the club, it's not a class we recommend for beginners.
Specs: 190mm Electric TC Chassis - 13.5 Motor - 2S LiPo - Slick Rubber tyres - ESC in BLINKY mode only
Points: 100 pts max for winning your classes A Final (95pts for 2nd, 90pts for 3rd, etc)
GT12 - OPEN Championship (Open to members and non-members)
Our GT12 championship follows the same specs as the National competitions. This is a great class for all abilities.
Specs: 1/12th Scale GT12 chassis - 13.5 motor - 1S LiPo - ESC BLINKY mode only - GT12 Tyres (open componds)

Clubman Cup (Open to members and non-members)
This is a new class for the 2020 season with a focus on fun low budget racing.
Specs: -1/10th scale Budget Chassis that originally retailed below £250 (Preferably Tamiya plastic chassis cars) - Brushed electrics only - All hop-ups permitted apart from carbon chassis's - Maximum (lowest) motor turn is 20t (No 15t etc) - Rubber (on-road) tyres only - Tamiya style shell that has more focus on details/scale than aerodynamics
Points: 100 pts max for winning your classes A Final (95pts for 2nd, 90pts for 3rd, etc)
Handicaps:
One win = Start the following race from the back of the grid
Two back to back wins = Start the following race with Motor/Gearing restriction
